Family owned Moyles Hotel and Restaurant is located in the heart of town. Owner Simon Moyle got the idea of creating the kind of place he would choose to go to while running an international company which involved staying and dining in hotels all over the world.
The result is a recently refurbished 19th century building which retains the attributes of a sturdy northern structure while the interior has been created by an international designer using contemporary styles.
The 12 luxurious, state-of-the-art bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms or showers and offer unparalleled comfort and hospitality.
Our restaurant has rapidly gained a reputation for very good food using fresh ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible with award-winning chef Magnus Mumby at the helm.
Our bar probably has the widest selection of beers and spirits for miles around which attracts locals and visitors further afield creating a relaxing and convivial atmosphere.
