The Industrial Trust is a registered charity working with business and education. Our Mission is: “To motivate, educate and inform young people in ways that inspire them to develop the skills, qualifications, and personal attributes needed to enter careers that will sustain the UK economy.”

We achieve this by using our links with hundreds of companies to make learning interesting and to demonstrate its relevance to work. We focus especially on areas which are disadvantaged.

• We involve companies, helping them open up their workplaces for educational visits.
• We discuss with schools and colleges the most suitable venues to suit the learning needs of each class or group.
• We make all the arrangements that will ensure that both schools and businesses have successful out of school events which are beneficial and enjoyable for both parties.
• We work with our partners to provide the variety of learning experiences that are required by the modern curriculum.
